A mishap on the way to Akaroa

To months ago, one of my friends who lives in Auckland came to Christchurch to visit me. I took him around the city to enjoy the beauty of spring in the Garden City. It was a sunny day with full of sunshine and lots of beautiful sounds which were sung from various birds. We went to Hagley Park in the morning to see cherry blossoms and it was the first time he saw this type of flower in his life. After spending 3 hours in the park, we decided to move to another place which is called Akaroa. We really excited because we thought it would be a great day to discover a new spot. Unluckily, on the way to Akaroa, a nail pierced one of the tyres while we were driving so we had to stop the car immediately. Before starting our journey, I had checked my car carefully but it was an unlucky thing. At that time, I felt really irritated because the place the incident happened was very far from our destination and my car did not carry any spare tyre. After waiting for 30 minutes, a car came to us and lent us a new tyre and then we arrived Akaroa safely.
